The BMW X range of Sports Activity Vehicles (SAVs) achieved impressive results, with the BMW X5 leading with nearly 1,300 deliveries, followed by the BMW X3 and X4, each surpassing 1,000 deliveries. The new locally assembled BMW X1 series also witnessed encouraging growth with over 500 units delivered in 2023.
MINI's growth was attributed to the high demand for the MINI Countryman, accounting for over 62% of MINI portfolio deliveries. The MINI Electric, representing over 26% of MINI vehicles delivered, contributed to the brand's success in electrified mobility.
BMW Motorrad experienced increased interest in Adventure motorcycles, with over 700 riders embracing the Make Life a Ride spirit in 2023. The BMW R 1250 GS Adventure, with over 400 units, led the Adventure segment, while the Tour segment saw over 200 motorcycles led by the BMW R 1250 RT.
BMW Group Financial Services Malaysia financed over 5,000 BMW, MINI, and BMW Motorrad vehicles in 2023, including over 1,100 fully electric vehicles. Digital funding accounted for over 32% of vehicle deliveries, with a 40% year-on-year growth in contracts signed for BMW & MINI Easy Drive financing programs.
