In a recent joint venture aimed at promoting inclusivity and inspiration, Porsche Malaysia, represented by Sime Darby Auto Performance (SDAP), has partnered with Women Photographers Malaysia (WPM) to organize the "Greatness through HER Lens" initiative. This collaborative effort celebrates inclusivity in photography and aligns with the spirit of International Women's Day.

The collaboration facilitated a meaningful dialogue with female photographers, spotlighting a different narrative within traditionally male-dominated industries, such as automotive photography. The initiative focused on showcasing the exceptional talents of female photographers through an experiential adventure with the new Cayenne, featuring scenic pitstops for engaging photography challenges.

Highlighting the compatibility of performance and comfort, female photographers from Malaysia and abroad enjoyed moments together in the Cayenne. The SUV's upgraded chassis system provided dynamic handling and superior comfort as participants escaped the city's hustle and bustle for an idyllic destination.

Intuitive Connection in the Cayenne

The Cayenne introduced the new Porsche Driver Experience, enhancing the driving experience with a new and intuitive display and control concept. The symmetrical appearance of the overall interior created a luxurious environment for the quintessential sports car accommodating up to five passengers.

As the convoy of Porsche Cayenne departed from Porsche Centre Ara Damansara, the urban landscape gradually gave way to lush greenery. The Cayenne's adaptive air suspension, equipped with two-chamber, two-valve technology, showcased its capabilities on winding roads through hills and forests. The SUV maintained poise, offering precise driving performance while prioritizing comfort for both the driver and passengers.

Embracing Different Perspectives Through CreativitySafety and assistance systems in the Cayenne facilitated smooth navigation to designated photoshoot locations. Participants, with diverse backgrounds and photography expertise, focused on six different categories at picturesque pitstops, challenging their versatility through creative lenses. Winning photos were submitted by Aun Pein, Fish Quan, Atiqah Is, Joanna James, and Yuki Eyok.

Christopher Hunter, CEO of Sime Darby Auto Performance, shared, "Porsche has always been committed to the power of collaboration and storytelling to drive positive change. 'Greatness through HER Lens' is a continuation of that collaboration, inspiring women to embrace their uniqueness and showcase their perspectives."

Annice Lyn, co-founder of Women Photographers Malaysia, highlighted the initiative's significance in empowering women in photography, stating, "In an industry where women are under-represented, 'Greatness through HER Lens' serves as a catalyst for change, providing female photographers the opportunity to shine and challenge stereotypes."

The camaraderie fostered during the journey created a supportive community, empowering participants to push beyond comfort zones and challenge stereotypes together.
