High performance SQ8 e-tron and SQ8 Sportback e-tron join fully electric Audi e-tron range

Petaling Jaya, 17th January 2024 – PHS Automotive Malaysia (PHSAM) has introduced two new additions to its electric vehicle lineup, unveiling the SQ8 e-tron and SQ8 Sportback e-tron as high-performance variants of the Audi e-tron range. Priced at RM519,990.00 for the SQ8 e-tron and RM529,990.00 for the SQ8 Sportback e-tron, these models offer a dynamic and efficient driving experience, boasting cutting-edge Audi technology.

Denyu Bostandzhiev, Managing Director of PHSAM, highlighted the significance of these new models, stating, "The e-tron is Audi’s first fully electric vehicle (EV) model, with the Q8 e-tron as the flagship." The SQ8 e-tron stands out as the first 3-motor electric vehicle available in Malaysia, delivering an impressive 503 PS with 973 Nm of torque. The design features a distinct "S" interior and exterior trim, enhancing the vehicle's bold silhouette and overall aesthetic appeal.

The SQ8 e-tron showcases advanced technology, with three asynchronous motors, two on the rear axle, marking the first time a mass-produced Audi model has incorporated a 3-motor drivetrain.
