The Alphard and Vellfire retain their signature one-box form, ensuring ample space within a compact structure. Underlining their elegance, the exterior design concept "Forceful x IMPACT LUXURY" infuses a sense of solidity into these vehicles. Distinctive full LED Headlamps, Sequential Signal Lamps, Cornering Lamps, and Daytime Running Lights, all illuminated with LEDs, distinguish the Alphard and Vellfire. The Alphard boasts three-dimensional grille-inspired lamp designs.

Both models now come equipped with larger 19-inch lightweight alloy rims, paired with 225/55-sized tires, elevating their aesthetic and performance.

Innovative TNGA Platform

Both the Alphard and Vellfire have transitioned to the new GA-K platform, utilizing Toyota's New Generation Architecture (TNGA). This enhanced platform optimizes ride and handling, thanks to a 50% improvement in body rigidity, achieved through straight rockers and a V-shaped brace in the rear lower part of the vehicle structure. Anti-vibration measures have also reduced vibrations by approximately 30%, enhancing overall ride comfort.

Numerous innovations, such as a rotating table, smartphone-like remote control for entertainment and climate systems, and a 14-inch Rear Monitor Display, make the interior a haven of convenience and entertainment.

For those who appreciate clean air, the Alphard is equipped with a NanoeX ionizer, eradicating harmful substances for a cleaner, fresher cabin environment. A large Panoramic Glass Roof with independently operable sunshades further elevates the open, spacious feel of the interior.

The Alphard and Vellfire's interiors have been reimagined to enhance comfort and operating efficiency for the driver. The driver's seat can be adjusted in eight ways with memory function. A new 12.3-inch full-color TFT display, complemented by a Head-Up Display in the Alphard, ensures critical information is easily accessible. The steering wheel incorporates electrostatic switches, enhancing functionality and reliability.

Furthermore, both vehicles incorporate multiple safety features, including six airbags, ISOFIX points for child seats, ABS with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), Brake Assist (BA), Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), and Traction Control (TRC). A Brake Hold function, along with Hill-start Assist Control (HAC), enhances maneuverability and safety.

The Digital Inner Mirror offers a broader field of view and reduced glare, while designed areas of the vehicle aim to reduce injuries to pedestrians during collisions.

For the discerning Malaysian market, UMW Toyota Motor is proud to present two finely-tuned models: the new Alphard 2.4T Executive Lounge and Vellfire 2.5. These vehicles are meticulously calibrated to meet local conditions and are fully compliant with JPJ’s Vehicle Type Approval requirements.

Power and Efficiency

Under the hood of the Alphard, the previous 3.5-litre engine has been replaced with a 2.4-litre 4-cylinder Dual VVT-i engine (T24A-FTS). This powerplant, despite its smaller displacement, delivers a substantial boost in output, with 278PS at 6,000 rpm and a remarkable 19.1% increase in maximum torque, now at 430Nm between 1,700 - 3,600 rpm. The Alphard ensures not only robust acceleration but also improved fuel efficiency and lower emissions. A Direct Shift 8-speed Automatic Transmission with ECO mode further optimizes performance and fuel efficiency.

The Vellfire, meanwhile, retains its 2.5-litre 2AR-FE 4-cylinder engine with Dual VVT-i, now boasting 182PS at 6,000 rpm and 235Nm of torque at 4,100 rpm. The power flows through a 7-speed continuously-variable transmission, designed for efficiency and quiet operation.

Lane Departure Alert (LDA) now detects 3-dimensional objects defining lanes, enhancing lane recognition.

The new Alphard and Vellfire are also equipped with Road Sign Assist (RSA), helping drivers stay aware of speed limit signs. The Adaptive High-beam System (AHS) optimizes nighttime illumination without causing glare for other drivers.
