MINI Malaysia presents two new stylish additions to the MINI Electric Resolute Edition, limited to only 90 units in Malaysia.

Kuala Lumpur, 3rd May 2023 – MINI, the most sophisticated compact premium automotive brand in Malaysia today unveiled new additions to the MINI Electric Resolute Edition – offering new stunning colourways to the highly-coveted all-electric MINI 3 Door in the country.

Limited to only 90 units in Malaysia, MINI Electric Resolute Edition offers a new exclusive design and equipment features to the all-electric MINI 3 Door that many have come to know and love, giving sustainable driving fun even greater appeal. The exclusive exterior design makes for an authentic appearance inspired by MINI’s rich heritage and conveys the message that locally emission-free driving fun is now an integral part of the brand’s character as well as more than 60 years of history.

The interior of the MINI Electric Resolute Edition is furnished with seats in the Cloth/Leatherette finish with Black Pearl Light Chequered upholstery, as well as an anthracite-coloured roof liner with black armrests and knee rolls to further reflect the sense of hallmark driving fun. The lower spoke of the Nappa leather sports steering wheel stylishly bears the edition-specific MINI Resolute logo. With evenly curved lines in a light golden tone, the graphic design forms an exquisite pinstripe pattern on the interior surfaces and side sills.

In line with the brand’s global ambitions for sustainability, the Cloth Leatherette Black Pearl Light Chequered upholstery is sustainably made with recycled PET (PolyEthylene Terephthalate) bottles. The recycling share of the upper fabric is 100% recycled PES (Polyester) and the lining is made up of approximately 70% recycled PET material, which results in a recycling rate of approximately 90.6%.

The MINI Electric Resolute Edition.

In addition to the Rebel Green colour offering, the MINI Electric Resolute Edition is now also available in Enigmatic Black and Nanuq White – two new paint finishes that add a striking touch of colour to the well-known MINI Electric. Instead of incorporating chrome elements in its exterior design language, the hallmark design features are finished in exclusive Resolute Bronze. These include the surrounds of the headlights, radiator grille and rear lights, the side scuttles on the front side panels and the handles of the doors and tailgate. By contrast, the surrounding strip at the lower edge of the windscreen is finished in Piano Black, as are the inner frame of the radiator grille, the brand logos and the model inscription.

The unmistakable appearance of the MINI Electric Resolute Edition is further enhanced by means of bonnet stripes in an exclusive design. Like the door sill trims, they feature a pattern made up of parallel lines with a colour gradient that runs between a light and a dark shade of gold, along with the inscription “RESOLUTE”. Exclusive features to the new edition include the Waistline Finisher in black, as well as 17-inch Electric Collection Spoke alloy wheels.
