Continental ComfortContact 7
Continental ComfortContact 7
Continental has renewed its popular ComfortContact series for its seventh generation. Designed specifically to meet the needs of drivers in the Asia Pacific region, and with a particular focus on providing a comfortable and smooth ride, the new CC7 tyre features a range of technologies and design elements optimized for the driving conditions and preferences of the region.
Key Strengths
• Comfort Specially-designed contour on tread patterns optimized for even pressure distribution across surface, thus reducing road noise.
• Wet Grip Silica compound enhances grip and handling in all weather conditions.
• Efficient Tread pattern that is optimized for low rolling resistance for the purpose of improving fuel efficiency and reducing carbon emissions.
Advanced Technology
Zero Shock Pattern A specialized tread design that features a continuous rib along the center of the tire, which helps to distribute pressure evenly across the tire surface and reduce shocks and vibrations. This can help to provide a more comfortable ride, particularly on rough or uneven road surfaces.
Ever Flex Compound A high-tech material that is used in the construction of the CC7 tire, and is designed to provide excellent grip and handling in a variety of driving conditions. The compound is optimized for both wet and dry performance, and features advanced polymers and resins that help to improve tire durability and reduce rolling resistance.
Noise Muter system A set of design elements that work together to reduce external tire noise and provide a quieter driving experience. The system includes a specialized contour that is optimized for even pressure distribution, as well as a range of sound-absorbing materials and technologies that help to minimize noise levels.

AUTOMOTIVE
Stringent NVH Testing
Before hitting the market, the CC7 was tested with a global team of more than 30 engineers & experts with more than 7,500 hours of designing, simulating and prototype testing with distance enough to circle the earth over 7 times.
During the development process, Continental uses a range of advanced testing equipment and techniques to measure NVH levels, including indoor and outdoor pass-by noise tests, drum tests, and on-vehicle testing.
Continental also uses computer simulation and modeling tools to analyze the tire's noise and vibration characteristics before the physical tires are produced. This allows the company to make adjustments to the tire's design and materials before actual testing and production begins, which can help to optimize the tire's performance and reduce the need for expensive and time-consuming physical testing.
