Kuala Lumpur, 9th February 2023 – Audi's much anticipated, fully electric e-tron range is set to make their debut in Malaysia soon, as announced by PHS Automotive Malaysia (PHSAM) at a media preview today.

Now open for booking, the new Q8 e-tron range – which includes the SUV and Sportback variants, is expected to retail between RM369,000 and RM476,000. The e-tron GT quattro has an expected retail price from RM559,000 to RM643,000, and the performance RS e-tron GT is open for booking with a price range between RM749,000 and RM769,000.

Audi entered the age of electromobility in 2018, marking the start of the electric future for the four rings. The Q8 e-tron now sets new standards in the electric luxury-SUV segment. The top-of-the-line electric SUV and sportback impress with their optimised drive concept, improved aerodynamics, higher charging performance and battery capacity of 114kWh, and increased range of up to 600 kilometres.

Key highlights include all-new singleframe projector lighting, new digital matrix LED headlights and - a world- first for an EV - virtual exterior mirrors. Furthermore, Malaysia will be amongst the first countries in Asia to receive the new Q8 e-tron, following the release of the first production of 2023 units to market.

With its emotive design and revolutionary technology, the award-winning e-tron GT coupé reinterprets the everyday usability and long-distance capability of up to 501 kilometres. Power is immediate, and the RS e-tron GT achieves a century run in 3.3 seconds.

The e-tron GT boasts Audi's groundbreaking electric quattro, steel brakes with tungsten carbide coating for more durability and carbon roof (e-tron GT with Dynamic Package and RS variant).

Erik Winter, Managing Director of PHSAM is confident that the high-performance luxury e-tron models will deliver an exceptional drive experience for owners.

"The e-tron range has been purpose-built inside-out with only the best performance in mind. It reinforces Audi's identity as a pioneer for the future and a perfect showcase of Audi's technological aspirations. I am very delighted to announce that the full range of Audi e-tron - including SUV, sportback and RS model will be in market within the next few months," Erik said.

Ahead of the e-tron range launch in mid-2023, Audi is already developing various aftersales service and warranty programmes specifically planned for the electric range, to enhance its customer loyalty, confidence, and experience. All Audi service technicians have and will continue to undergo hours of training, assessment, and certification as part of Audi Malaysia's EV entry into the market.

For a limited time, the Audi RS e-tron GT can be previewed at Audi's showrooms in Glenmarie, Juru and Setia Alam. It will also be on display the upcoming Audi Showcase at 1Utama Shopping Centre later this month from the 22nd to 26th February 2023.

Bookings can be made at any Audi Centre. For more information, visit Audi Malaysia's website.
