Kuala Lumpur, 6th July 2022 - Pirelli Cinturato Rosso tyre arrives in the replacement market to benefit the consumers who are looking for comfort and safety, providing a reliable and a premium choice. The tread is designed to offer good travel pleasure and enhance performance in both wet and dry conditions for a safe journey. Cinturato Rosso will be available with more than 50 sizes from 15 to 21 inches, for modern crossovers, sedans and SUVs.

The tread of the Cinturato Rosso is designed to provide comfort and driving pleasure thanks to the fully grooved ribs with side-to-side sipes to smooth force transitions. Closed up to the details of the central rib, the scale-shaped rib leverage progressive stiffness gradient during rolling, to allow low noise emission.

Cinturato Rosso enhances safety as all Pirelli products. High braking and handling results are recorded with progressive shoulder radius optimizing contact patch void ratio. Performance on wet conditions is also enhanced, with an additional 5th small longitudinal channel located on the external shoulder: this channel opens only when loaded, helping the drainage of water out of the footprint especially in cornering conditions, reducing aquaplaning risk. Variable depth transversal grooves also speed up water evacuation towards the sides of the footprint.
