Kuala Lumpur, 28th September 2022 – Sime Darby Auto ConneXion (SDAC), the sole distributor for Ford in Malaysia, today announced that the wait is nearly over for the next-generation Ranger Raptor. The highly-anticipated performance pickup will be officially launched on 7 October 2022 at Baja track on the fringe of the Sepang International Circuit (SIC).
Developed with Ford’s Performance DNA, the Ranger Raptor sets the benchmark as Asia Pacific’s only purpose-built high-speed off-road performance pickup. The next-generation Ranger Raptor is again raising the performance bar – blending mechanical and technical precision with a raft of smart technologies to tame all terrains.

Members of the public, Ford customers and Ranger fans are welcome to register via the SDAC-Ford Malaysia website to receive exclusive invitations to the public launch on 7-9 October 2022, Baja track in Sepang.

Those with invitations to the public event will be amongst the first in Malaysia to witness the raw power of the next-generation Ranger Raptor live in action. They will also have the opportunity to get up close and personal with the vehicle through a guided walk-around and experience the exhilaration of test driving one around an allocated track.
Ford’s family of recently launched next-generation vehicles – the next-gen Ranger line-up and the next-gen Everest range – will also be on display and available for test drives during the event.
