Ipoh, 17th March 2022 – Ipoh has always been nostalgic for Cycle & Carriage (C&C) as it was at Brewster Road where the company opened its first branch in 1906. C&C Malaysia notches another milestone for Ipoh today as it introduces its fourth Autohaus across Peninsular Malaysia to feature the all-new Mercedes-Benz Brand Presence. The newly upgraded Autohaus in the Northern region was unveiled by C&C together with Mercedes-Benz Malaysia. The Autohaus embraces the company’s commitment to delivering exceptional journeys and customer-centricity, offering a luxurious automotive retail experience that puts customers first.

Mercedes-Benz customers in Ipoh can now experience the brand’s latest retail experience, the Mercedes-Benz Retail Brand Presence, following Cycle & Carriage Ipoh’s latest upgrade. The retail strategy, which highlights the integration of digital elements into the physical world, aims to deliver customer-centric automotive retail experiences for modern-day shoppers. This seamless customer journey caters to the multi-channel shopper while addressing the increasing technological complexity of products searched for by customers.

Amidst a backdrop of the picturesque Ipoh limestone cliffs, the Cycle & Carriage Ipoh Autohaus spans over 56,000 square feet. Visitors arriving will step in through the newly revamped entrance featuring modern luxury designs and immediately be greeted by the Star Assistant, who offers exceptional hospitality so visitors can feel at ease exploring the showroom.

The Cycle & Carriage Ipoh Autohaus is designed with ample open space and supplemented with custom daylight-emitting spotlights to reveal the true colours of each vehicle. All vehicles are intentionally arranged in the shape of an arc to maximise the visibility of every model displayed.

Visitors can also immerse themselves in a journey featuring the latest in multimedia tools to gain a thorough understanding of Mercedes-Benz vehicles and their technologies. With the addition of new digital touchpoints, customers can discover the brand while gaining access to the service team for a complete experience of luxury that integrates both the digital and human touch.

The newly upgraded autohaus is also home to a comprehensive workshop that offers repair, tyre and wheel, body and paint, as well as car detailing services. As one of the largest vehicle service centres in the area, it is equipped with twenty (20) service and repair bays, eleven (11) body and paint bays, complemented with high ceilings and large fans for a naturally airy space.

The autohaus is designed with sustainability in mind, being the second Cycle & Carriage Autohaus after Johor Bahru, to deploy solar photovoltaic technology with a capacity of seventy-two (72) kWp. In addition to solar, it also boasts rainwater harvesting systems for general water use such as cleaning and groundskeeping.
