BMW Group Malaysia Recognises Outstanding Dealerships and Individuals at the BMW Group Malaysia Dealer Awards Night 2020.
Premium automaker recognises the crowning achievements of its dealership partners across the BMW, MINI and BMW Motorrad brands for the year 2020.
Kuala Lumpur, 23rd December 2021 - BMW Group Malaysia recently held its annual Dealer Awards Night at The St. Regis Kuala Lumpur, hosting over 180 representatives and individuals from across the BMW network to commemorate their outstanding achievements despite the tumultuous and challenging year that was 2020.
23 BMW, 5 MINI, and 7 BMW Motorrad dealerships from across the country were acknowledged for their exceptional service standards, unparalleled dedication in delivering best-in-class vehicles and aftersale services – and most importantly, embodying the promise to deliver the Premium Ownership Experience to customers.
In his speech, Hans de Visser, Managing Director of BMW Group Malaysia paid tribute to dealerships and associates, “In the 29 years I have had the privilege of working with the BMW Group, it continues to amaze me to see such a strong, great team working together. While results are telling, the passion and dedication to always deliver the best not just for the brand, but also to all our customers, were made abundantly clear to me. Despite the challenging year, our network of dealers has demonstrated what it means to deliver a strong performance against all odds.“
BMW Aftersales Dealer Award 2020.
The BMW Group Malaysia Dealer Awards Night 2020 acknowledged the remarkable work of individuals in the area of Aftersales, across the Technical, Customer Service Officer, Head of Parts, Head of Aftersales and Open Category.
The Open Category award was given to Kiruban Raj of Ingress Auto Puchong, Nyo Ke Fui of Millennium Welt Batu Pahat and Muhammad Aliff Ikhwan Bin Zamani of Millennium Welt Kuantan.
For the Technical category, the award was given to Chuah Teong Lieh of Auto Bavaria Ara Damansara, Balamurali A/L Kreshenan of Auto Bavaria Tebrau and Kamarolzaman of Auto Bavaria Kuala Lumpur.
Meanwhile, for the Customer Service Officer category, the award was given to Woon Sing Yee of Tian Siang Premium Auto Ipoh, Prasant Jothi of Quill Automobiles and Tan Qi Herng of Millennium Welt Batu Pahat.
Last but not least, the Head of Parts category, on the other hand, saw Fun Meng Chiang of Auto Bavaria Kuala Lumpur and Goo Siew Lee of Tian Siang Premium Auto Ipoh take home the award; while the Head of Aftersales award was given to Antony David of Auto Bavaria Ara Damansara, Mohd. Fauzi K. Hamid of Regas Premium Sabah and Mohd. Azlan Aladin of Auto Bavaria Penang.

BMW Motorrad Dealer Award 2020.
BMW Group Malaysia also presented the BMW Motorrad Dealer Award, highlighting outstanding achievements in helping customers Make Life a Ride. The award was split across the categories of Motorrad Technicians, Motorrad Service Advisors, Motorrad Aftersale Manager, Motorrad Sales Advisor and Motorrad Sales Manager.
Recognising the best of Motorrad Technicians, the award went to Muhammad Fahmi of Millennium Welt Seremban and Choe Kah Hoe of Auto Bavaria Penang.
For the Motorrad Service Advisor category, the winners were Tee Kean Chu of Auto Bavaria Penang and Mohd. Sopian of EL Chong Motor. Meanwhile, the Motorrad Aftersales Manager category saw David Mak of Chear Motorrad and Muthuramu Suppiah of Auto Bavaria Ara Damansara take home the award.
On the other hand, the Motorrad Sales Advisor category winners were Gary Saw Kooi Hong of Auto Bavaria Penang and Wee Wei Ping of EL Chong Motor. Lastly, Motorrad Sales Manager category winners were Ben Chear of Chear Motorrad and Sathiya Selvam of Tian Siang Premium Auto Ipoh.
MINI Issigonis Club Award 2020.
The MINI Issigonis Club Award highlights the success of delivering BIG LOVE to customers with the MINI brand, broken down into the following categories - MINI Top Dealership, MINI Top Sales Manager, and MINI Top Sales Advisor. The awards are further categorised under MINI John Cooper Works (MINI JCW), MINI Cooper S and MINI Cooper.
For the MINI Top Sales Advisor award in the MINI Cooper category, the winners are Cally Chan Li Beng of Auto Bavaria Penang and Eliz Wong Yoon Hiung of Millennium Welt Seremban; while the winners for the MINI Cooper S category are Wong Ann Mee and Stephy Chan Wai Yee of Auto Bavaria Kuala Lumpur. In the MINI JCW category, winners are Belinda Ong Gaik Choo and Lee Sok Yee of Auto Bavaria Ara Damansara.
Meanwhile, the MINI Top Sales Manager award was given to Wendy Lee of Millennium Welt Seremban for the MINI Cooper category, Michael John of Wheelcorp Premium for the MINI Cooper S category and the Victor Tan Wei Teck of Auto Bavaria Ara Damansara for the MINI JCW category.
Lastly, the MINI Top Dealership award saw Nicholas Lee of Millennium Welt Seremban recognised for the MINI Cooper category, Choong Chin Seong of Auto Bavaria Kuala Lumpur for the MINI Cooper S category and Joe Lee Se Juan of Auto Bavaria Ara Damansara for the MINI JCW category.
Top Sales Advisor for BMW Easy Drive 2020.
Top Sales Advisor for BMW Easy Drive and Highest Penetration for MINI Financial Services were awarded to outstanding individuals in Financial Services. The Platinum category winner for Top Sales Advisor for BMW Easy Drive 2020 went to Wong Yoke Leng of Auto Bavaria Sungai Besi, while Chea Ying Ying of Auto Bavaria Kuala Lumpur took home the Diamond category award.
Highest Penetration for MINI Financial Services 2020.
For the Highest Penetration for MINI Financial Services 2020, the Platinum category award was given to Choong Chin Seong of Auto Bavaria Kuala Lumpur, while Jayden Liew of Wheelcorp Premium took home the Diamond category award.
BMW Vision Club Award 2020.
The BMW Vision Club Award recognised remarkable individual accomplishments in sales – awarded for the BMW Premium Selection, as well as across the Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond categories for Sales Advisor and Head of Sales.
Under the BMW Premium Selection, the winner for the Sales Advisor category was Alex Yeo of Quill Automobiles, while the winner for the Head of Sales category was Niski Mak Jun Hong of Millennium Welt Seremban.
Meanwhile, the Silver category for Sales Advisor was awarded to Ong Jun Hong from Millennium Welt Batu Pahat, while Gold category winners were Lim Yu Yuan of Lee Motors Auto Care and Zuhairy bin Mazry of Seong Hoe Premium Motors. Platinum category winners were Ting Lai Kuan of Tian Siang Premium Auto Ipoh, Wendy Lee of Millennium Welt Seremban and Cindy Goh Sin Yee of Tian Siang Premium Auto Butterworth, while those taking home the Diamond category award were Winnie Lim Siao Huoi of Wheelcorp Premium, Thilagaraj Palanisamy of Quill Automobiles, Chua Kok Sing of Auto Bavaria Ara Damansara, Chong Kean Tuck of Auto Bavaria Ara Damansara and Ros Faizan Bin Mohd. For Head of Sales, the Silver category went to Tracey Ho of Millennium Welt Batu Pahat, while Josephine Tay of Regas Premium Auto and Gabriel Koh of Seong Hoe Premium Motors took home the Gold category award. Platinum category winners for Head of Sales were Eagle Teoh of Tian Siang Premium Auto Butterworth and Wong Kim Kooi of Auto Bavaria Penang. Finally, Diamond category winners were Muhd Azrul Azman of Auto Bavaria Ara Damansara and Mandy Tang of Auto Bavaria Sungai Besi.
BMW Excellence Club Award 2020.
The BMW Excellence Club Award is given to individuals who recorded stellar performances for the year and is awarded in three categories this year: Gold, Platinum and Diamond.
The winners for the Gold category were Gavin Tay of Regas Premium Auto in first place and Matthew Tan of Regas Premium Sabah in second place. For the Platinum category, Wong Loke Win of Auto Bavaria Penang took home the first place, followed by Tan Ka Kin of Tian Siang Premium Auto Ipoh as runner-up and Danny Boey of Auto Bavaria Johor Bahru in third place. Lastly, for the Diamond category, Joe Lee Se Juan of Auto Bavaria Ara Damansara was awarded first place, with Muhd Azrul Azman of Auto Bavaria Sungai Besi and Choong Chin Seong of Auto Bavaria Kuala Lumpur being awarded the second and third place respectively.

The BMW Group Dealer Appreciation Award was awarded to outstanding Head of Sales and Head of Aftersales across for the BMW category, as well as individuals across the MINI and BMW Motorrad categories.
