Petaling Jaya, 26th February 2020 - Honda Malaysia has officially launched the new Civic, Malaysia’s C-segment leader featuring the next generation advanced safety technology – Honda Sensing. These updates put the Civic on par with D-segment features in safety, style and comfort.
The 10th Generation Civic emerged as Malaysia’s favourite Honda model and dominated its segment with a market share of 72% for the year 2019. It is currently the most sought after model in its segment, having sold more than 48,000 units since its launch four years ago.
Honda Malaysia Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Mr. Toichi Ishiyama said, “In 2016, we revolutionised the C-segment when we introduced the 10th Generation Civic with a turbocharged engine, new stylish exterior design and first in segment features. With the launch of this innovative new Civic today which is equipped with the full suite of Honda Sensing and added advanced safety features, we are proud to further raise the benchmark in the segment. I believe that the new Civic is a complete car for C-segment buyers with its D-segment features.”
